Air Jordan IV 2012 White/Cement Grey Retro Preview

Although several previews have surfaced over the last few weeks, we’re finally given a clearer look into the upcoming white/cement grey retro of the Air Jordan IV. Arguably one of the more anticipated releases of 2012, this return will feature most of the same characteristics that made the original – and initial retro in 1999 – such a success, aside from a darker shade of grey and Jumpman heel detail. Stay tuned for a closer look once a release date nears.

WELCOME TO OHIO STATE URBAN MEYER!!

ITS OFFICIAL! According to The Columbus Dispatch, ESPN and other news Sources Urban Meyer is now a Buckeye.

Former Florida coach Urban Meyer has taken the head coaching job at Ohio State, sources confirmed to ESPN on Monday.

Ohio State will hold a news conference at 5:15 p.m. ET at the Fawcett Center to introduce its new coach. It did not mention Meyer, a native of Ashtabula, Ohio.

Meyer, who led the Gators to two national championships before stepping down to spend more time with his family amid ongoing reports of health concerns, had worked as a game analyst this season for ESPN. But he asked to be taken off his assignments for the network this weekend as reports swirled of his imminent hire by Ohio State, a program with a glittering past that has suffered through a difficult year of NCAA violations, suspensions and a 6-6 record.

Columbus will be the fourth stop in the 47-year-old Meyer's coaching career. He had a 104-23 record over 10 seasons with Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. From 2001-10, he had five 10-win seasons, the two BCS titles with the Gators and a 7-1 record in bowl games -- including the Gators' 41-14 victory over unbeaten and top-ranked Ohio State in the 2007 title game.

Sources told WKMG-TV in Orlando last week that Meyer will receive a seven-year, $40 million contract.

Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith and other university officials did not respond to requests for comment.

A team meeting set for Sunday night was moved to Monday afternoon before the news conference to allow Meyer to meet his players.

Earle Bruce, who was the head coach at Ohio State when Meyer was a graduate assistant in the mid-1980s, has remained a close friend and confidant of Meyer through the years. He said he had no concerns about Meyer's health issues.

"Well, if he'd had a heart attack and his heart was bad, I'd be worried about that," the 80-year-old Bruce said on Monday, according to The Associated Press. "I'm not worried that he was stressed out over the game of football because he was thinking too much and not doing some things (exercising) that would have kept him straight.

"I think he got everything back under control by sitting out a year. I think he missed football. And he's good at it."

Alabama coach Nick Saban, who played at Kent State and coached at Toledo in the Buckeye state, said he was happy for Meyer.

"I'm sure he's excited about it, and I'm excited for him that he has an opportunity to go back to his home state and be the head coach here," Saban said. "I think it's a wonderful opportunity and I think he'll do a great job."

Meyer takes over a program that is likely facing NCAA sanctions and was crippled by the resignation of coach Jim Tressel, who was forced out nearly six months ago amid a tattoo-parlor scandal involving star Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor. The Buckeyes completed their only season under interim Luke Fickell with a 40-34 loss to Michigan on Saturday that snapped a seven-game winning streak to their rivals and left them with a 3-5 record in the Big Ten.

Wolverines coach Brady Hoke underplayed the role of the head coaches in the rivalry.

"I've known Urban, he's a good football coach, a good guy and I welcome him in," Hoke said on Monday. "But it's still Michigan and Ohio and neither one of us is going to play the game."

Meyer inherits a program still facing NCAA sanctions. But he also inherits a young team led by a freshman quarterback, Braxton Miller, who would seem to be a perfect fit for his spread offense.

Missing several top players because of NCAA suspensions stemming from the tattoo mess, the Buckeyes were hit with more suspensions when three players accepted $200 in cash for attending a charity event and others were forced to sit out or had their existing suspensions extended for being overpaid for summer jobs.

Ohio State's .500 record marked the most losses at Ohio State since John Cooper's 1999 team also went 6-6 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes had already lost their string of six Big Ten titles when the school was forced to vacate the 2010 season for the NCAA violations. The school also has self-imposed two years of NCAA probation, offered to return $339,000 in bowl revenue from 2010 and to give up five scholarships over the next three seasons.

Ohio State is awaiting final word from the NCAA's committee on infractions. The committee tagged Ohio State with a "failure to monitor" label -- second only to a lack of institutional control on the list of most egregious charges against a university. The school could still be hit with a bowl ban, a loss of more scholarships, or other penalties.

One of Meyer's broadcast partners and close friends is former Ohio State linebacker Chris Spielman.
insert foot into mouth... lol

"He enjoyed what he was doing, but I think he also had the bug to start coaching again," said Spielman, who added he would not be an assistant coach under Meyer as some have speculated. "We just kind of talked about the pros and cons of both throughout the year. He weighed all the options and there were jobs out there that definitely captured his interest and certainly Ohio State was one of them. He decided that it was the best move. This was just an opportunity that he couldn't pass up."

Wale & Rick Ross Cover Billboard Magazine

Wale and Rick Ross get a nice look as they cover the latest edition of Billboard Magazine. You can go ahead and read the Maybach Music cover story below:

Via Billboard:
“Clutch” is a word sports fans use to describe a moment in which someone recognizes the magnitude of a situation and rises to meet it.
It’s a buzzer-beating jump shot, or a Hail Mary touchdown pass — a triumph instantly memorized and placed in the history books.
The idea of being “clutch” — of having a sixth sense for the defining moment — is one that Rick Ross relates to. After all, the 35-year-old Miami rapper has quietly been clutch his entire career.
When he needed a hit first single five years ago, “Hustlin’” became an anthem, selling 733,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
When he needed to win over critics, he released a front-to-back classic, “Teflon Don,” in 2010. It sold 682,000 copies and topped out at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
When he needed to deliver guest verses on tracks by Kanye West, DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne, he crushed them, and helped “Devil in a New Dress,” “I’m on One” and “John” sell more than 2.1 million cumulative copies, according to SoundScan.
“I understand why New York’s a huge fan of Derek Jeter — because in the playoffs he always delivered, he always came through,” Ross says. “And that’s what it is when it comes to big records, big collaborations. I was fortunate last year to have a run with the biggest names in the game.”
And when Ross moved to join hip-hop’s elite ( Jay-Z with Roc Nation, West with G.O.O.D Music, Lil Wayne with Young Money) by establishing a solid musical brand, he expanded his label, Maybach Music Group (MMG), to include Wale, Meek Mill and Pill last spring. The move also punched up the identity of Warner Bros. Records’ urban department: Maybach inked a distribution deal with the major in February, as Ross continues his solo career at his longtime home, Def Jam Recordings.
“I said to [Ross], ‘I think we could build something great together. You could build the next Cash Money,’” says Joie Manda ( @joeyie), executive VP/head of urban music at Warner Bros. Records. “And he said, ‘That’s what I want to do. That’s my dream.’”
MMG sports an assortment of lyrical styles, but just when Ross needed to prove the power of his brand, Wale released his sophomore album, “Ambition,” to stunning results on Nov. 1. The Washington, D.C. rapper’s 2009 debut, “Attention Deficit,” sold 28,000 copies in its first week, and Interscope Records eventually dropped him. However, with Ross executive-producing (with Wale), and relentlessly promoting “Ambition” (he even set the avatar of his @rickyrozay Twitter account, which sports 1.5 million followers, with Wale’s album artwork), the album sold 164,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It’s an improbable comeback that Wale acknowledges in the liner notes of the new LP. “Rick Ross,” it says simply, “thank you for giving me my shot.”
On Oct. 14, 18 days before the release of Wale’s “Ambition,” Ross suffered a seizure aboard a Memphis-bound plane, on his way to opening a Wingstop restaurant franchise. The medical scare required an emergency landing and treatment at a Fort Lauderdale hospital, and when Ross tried to fly from Florida later that day, he suffered another medical setback and was rushed to an emergency room in Birmingham, Ala.
One month later, Ross says that he “feels great,” and although rumors abound about his physical state, he chalks up the scares to a “lack of sleep.” The incidents have delayed the release of the anticipated “God Forgives, I Don’t,” his spectacularly titled fifth full-length originally slated to arrive Dec. 13. Island Def Jam (IDJ) senior VP of marketing Chris Atlas says that the album is now expected “around first quarter, maybe early second quarter” (Billboard.com, Nov. 17).
“We’re all aware of his recent health issues, and based on some of the minor setbacks with that, we weren’t able to confirm certain opportunities, because he physically wasn’t able to deal with certain things at the time,” Atlas says. “We want him, as we want for ourselves, to have the best setup for this album, and to have an artist that is 100% ready to go in releasing and impacting this record, because the expectations for it are high.”
In the meantime, Ross is still firing on all cylinders, spending marathon studio sessions tweaking “God Forgives” and other projects. He’s a tireless worker, literally — longtime manager Alex “Gucci Pucci” Bethune says that he and Ross usually get about three hours of sleep per night. Ross is constantly thinking, talking and tweeting about MMG, and wants “God Forgives” to pack the epic scope of a Brian De Palma film — hence the title.
“This album is almost like a movie,” Ross says. “I wanted [the title] to be something that was extremely emotional, to set up a real roller coaster ride as far as the music and thought process. It sounds like a term of retaliation, and with the picture that I’m painting, it felt perfect.”
After breaking out with the 2006 single “Hustlin,’” Ross’ first three albums – 2006′s “Port of Miami,” 2008′s “Trilla” and 2009′s “Deeper Than Rap” – all hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned hits like “Push It,” “The Boss” and “Magnificent.”
2010′s “Teflon Don,” however, was a lush, more cohesive effort than his previous output, with guest verses by West, Jay-Z and T.I. and tracks like “Tears of Joy” offering insightful introspection. Pitchfork and Rolling Stone both included “Teflon Don” on their year-end albums lists, and “Aston Martin Music,” the sparkling third single featuring Drake and Chrisette Michele and produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, gave Ross his biggest hit on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, peaking at No. 2 in January.
According to the Grammy Award-winning production collective J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League’s Kevin “Colione” Crowe ( @colionejl), who began working with Ross on “Trilla,” the “Aston Martin Music” beat originally was sent to both Drake and Ross through a mix-up. When the two rappers met up, Ross folded Drake’s hook next to Michele’s chorus and created a unique pop track. “Ross has such a vision – he’s a musical type of guy, and he can see the whole format of a beat,” Crowe says.
The success of “Teflon Don” presented an opportunity for Ross: He could begin building a roster of artists on his MMG imprint and use his own visibility to give their releases some juice. Maybach’s business model could become to Ross what Roc-a-Fella was to Jay-Z and what Young Money has become to Lil Wayne.
“I’ve most definitely been a fan of Hov and his whole movement,” Ross says of Jay-Z. “He gave a blueprint to a lot of young entrepreneurs, as well as Wayne, with how active Wayne is with artists. There’s a lot of different approaches, but at the end of the day, we’ve . . . just got to be hands-on and walk our own path.”
The signings fell into place naturally. Meek Mill ( @MeekMill), a mixtape specialist from Philadelphia, says he asked Ross through Twitter last year to contribute a verse to his “Rozay Red” remix and started seeing the rapper and talking to him on the road. “He must have liked what I was doing. I came down to Miami, and I’ve been Maybach ever since,” Mill says.
Wale’s manager, Rich Kleiman, who is also Roc Nation VP of management, says that Ross had been talking to Wale backstage at club shows for months last year – the D.C. rapper’s verse on Waka Flocka Flame’s hit single “No Hands” had been earning him new recognition. Ross says that he could see the passion in Wale’s rhymes, and the poor sales of “Attention Deficit” didn’t deter him from offering Wale a deal. “It wasn’t about hype, and it wasn’t about past success,” Ross says. “It was about who Wale was as an MC – an incredible MC – that made me a fan. I felt we could make history together.”
With Mill and Wale in place on the roster, Ross decided to inject some “new energy” in the Maybach imprint after the label’s deal with Def Jam Recordings expired. Rumors of a bidding war for MMG spread until the label solidified a partnership with Warner Bros. Records on Feb. 22, the same day Ross announced the signing of Atlanta rapper Pill ( @Pill4180), an online favorite, to MMG.
“[Ross] was someone we had our eyes on for a long time, so as soon as we were in a position to act on it, we did,” Warner Bros. Records co-president/CEO Todd Moscowitz says. “When we started having serious conversations, he outlined exactly what he’d hoped, which was a multiyear plan to thoughtfully build an important label, artist by artist.”
The first move was the May release “Self Made, Vol. 1,” an MMG compilation album, which featured the ferocious single “Tupac Back” and has sold 183,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album came out while Ross was supporting Lil Wayne on his I Am Still Music tour, and the rapper peppered his sets with Maybach shout-outs. During a March 26 performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Ross brought Mill, as well as Sean “Diddy” Combs and DJ Khaled, onstage, and toasted his MMG signee to Mill’s hometown crowd. The audience went wild.
Meanwhile, Ross began guiding Wale as he readied his comeback album in Atlanta, giving him feedback on each song, helping him select the moody “Lotus Flower Bomb” (featuring crooner Miguel) as the impact single (it was a Greatest Gainer on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart on Oct. 29.) Ross also appears on two tracks.
“He wasn’t there all the time, but he was instrumental in deciding where Wale was going to record, the people Wale was going have around him,” Kleiman says. “And then there were periods where he’d meet with Wale in Atlanta or Miami or New York and have quality 24- to 48-hour periods of going through every song and trying things and giving advice-truly executive-producing the album.”
Ross also boosted Wale’s social profile with nonstop promotion of “Ambition,” including 71 mentions of the album on Twitter the day of its release and links to Wale’s latest music videos. Now Wale has 1.3 million Twitter followers – almost as many as Ross.
The MMG deal put Ross in an awkward label position: He’d laid a foundation at Warner Bros. for his label, but was committed to Def Jam Recordings as a solo artist for three more albums. “I get to see two different systems and two different perspectives,” he says. And Def Jam Recordings is happy to watch Maybach flourish as it focuses on solo projects like “God Forgives, I Don’t.”
“With all of the incredible activity Ross has been generating in the marketplace with MMG, his profile is as hot as ever,” IDJ president/COO Steve Bartels says. “This puts us in the unique position to do what we do best: catapult the artist to the next level, while solidifying and expanding his core and his standing in the industry.”
Chris Atlas adds that Ross’ many guest verses in 2011 helped increase his visibility in different genres. On the Oct. 22 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Ross appeared on seven of the tally’s 100 songs, including Monica’s R&B jam “Anything (To Find You),” DJ Khaled’s chart-topping posse cut “I’m on One” and Mill’s “Ima Boss” from “Self Made, Vol. 1.” “Whether it’s all MMG records or just other feature records, they’ve all added to his growing brand,” Atlas says.
Also on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart are a pair of Ross singles — the Nicki Minaj-warmed pop track “You the Boss” and the Just Blaze-produced banger “I Love My Bitches” — that will be included on “God Forgives.” The two tracks debuted Oct. 4 — a little more than a week before Ross suffered the seizure — and despite the album delay, the songs will remain the focus of Def Jam Recordings’ marketing rollout for “God Forgives,” with no new single expected before year’s end.
“You the Boss” has moved 80,000 copies while “I Love My Bitches” has sold 17,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and Atlas says that “Boss” will be crossed over to rhythmic and pop after initially finding a home at R&B/hip-hop radio. A video for the song is coming, as are TV opportunities, live concert events and Twitter campaigns, depending on the new release date. On the MMG side, Warner Bros.’ Manda says that a “Self Made, Vol. 2″ could arrive as early as late January and that Mill’s proper debut is expected to be released in March. As for the further expansion of MMG’s roster, including a rumored partnership with veteran MC Trina, Manda will only say that Ross “is constantly looking for new talent.”
It’s not a surprising play for Ross. After all, larger-than-life personalities are always looking ahead for new opportunities, searching for ways to “take it to the next level,” as he so often says. Even if “God Forgives,” I Don’t is coming out after the calendar flips due to his seizure in October, he’s making sure he has more clutch opportunities lined up for 2012.
“Rick’s a warrior,” manager Bethune says. “I hear what everyone is saying [about his health], but me knowing him, I see none of that. I just know he probably needs to get a little rest. We all do. But . . . we’re back at it, and we’ve been back at it for a while now.”
“It could have been a lot worse,” Ross adds of the health scare. “So I’m just thankful. I feel good-and I’m back on my grind already.”

T.I. Covers December VIBE

T.I. covers VIBE‘s year end issue, which goes on sale on December 6th.Read below for the excerpts provided by Vibe:

T.I. on being skeptical of Bin Laden’s death
The conversation shifts from Muammar Gaddafi’s death—which occurred five days prior—to Osama Bin Laden’s assassination to both Eastern giant’s once empowered relationship with the U.S. government. “It’s like everybody that the U.S. was besties with, years later they’re the worst person in the world,” says Tip. “My question is what character traits do they possess now that they didn’t possess when y’all were besties? What made it go astray, and who’s to say they were on the dishonest end of that?”
The politic’n doesn’t stop there. Before an article can be selected from the “Osama Bin Laden killed” search, T.I. twists his lips in sarcastic fashion and shoots, “If that really happened.”

VIBE: So you’re skeptical about the legitimacy of Osama’s death?
T.I.: Man, I’m a conspiracy theorist by nature. You can’t experience the federal penal system and not be somewhat skeptical.
T.I. on all Americans having equal rights
Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, ‘C’mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a dick, you can take a joke.’ [Cracks up laughing.] That shit was funny to me. And it’s kind of true.’ While T.I. makes clear that he supports anyone’s sexual preference, he then connects, in his opinion, a current oversensitivity among gay people with a consequential and ironic offense of the First Amendment. “They’re like,‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ … That’s not American. If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.’
T.I. on people criticizing Tiny for not taking the drug charge
“I’ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn’a have no discussion about what my ole lady should’a, would’a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me,” begins his rant. “We ain’t gonn’a do that. I’m the only one in my family that’s gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I’m the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway.”
VIBE: I doubt she would have gotten any time.
T.I.: She wasn’t gonna catch it period, ’cause I’m there. That wasn’t even a consideration. Even if she asked me to I would’ve been like, “Nah, you trippin’. “
So you didn’t feel you were more valuable to your family, employees and business partners on the street?
That’s a discussion between me and another man. Not with the mother of my children. Not with the nurturer of my household.

Tyler, the Creator Reveals New Album Title

If you’re anti-Tyler, the Creator, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear that the Odd Future frontman’s forthcoming album Wolf, will be less about raping and murdering and more about “hippie music.” In a recent sit-down with SPIN, Tyler spoke about what to expect.

“Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn’t interest me anymore… What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I’ll brag a little more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I’ll be a smart-ass about it. Now it’s just girls throwing themselves at me and shit, but I got a girl back home. People who want the first album again, I can’t do that. I was 18, broke as fuck. On my third album, I have money and I’m hanging out with my idols. I can’t rap about the same shit.”

I think the dude finally gets it, he really wants to stay in this music game and realizes its about progression and moving forward. This album should be pretty dope.

DEATH OF THE WORD "BALLIN"

Head Writer

Derek Alan West

Welcome back, this week we're finishing up our Misused/Overused slang series with a word that could have been buried somewhere with jimmy Hoffa circa 2008..."Ballin". It's not so much that I don't care for the word, as much so that I feel it should only be reserved for the times when you are in fact Ballin'.

look at his concentration.....amazing

I place the blame for the words surge in popularity solely on the shoulders of Jim Jones. The word had of course been around before his 2006 mega hit "We Fly High (Ballin)" from his album Hustlers P.O.M.E. but it was after that when we started to see parents, children, grandmothers, and even WWE wrestlers not only use the word in everyday life, but also the "hooping" gesture.

The origin of the word obviously comes from the sport of basketball and is used to imply a vast amount of wealth. Like that of what an NBA player would receive from his players contract, endorsements, etc. the issue here arises when the word is applied to situations that are not Ballin'.....at all.

"I was at the club last night son! Ballin out of control! It was $2.00 shots and $1.00 bottlenecks kid! Balllliiiiiinnnn! *makes hooping gesture*

got the new stunna shades on kid....uh oh.. "BALLIN!!!"

No, that's not Ballin. That's drink specials at the club to get people through the door. Youre not Ballin because you managed to drink a little more for a little less cash. The whole idea behind Ballin is to not even be worried about the cash you're blowing. So by definition you're the opposite of Ballin because you waited until discount night to hit the town.

Now some would argue that Ballin is relative. What may be Ballin to one person might not necessarily be Ballin to another. For instance if you work a 9 to 5 type job, bringing in let's say $400 a week, then maybe to you, blowing $200 on a night out is what you would call Ballin, and in that instance, I'd say...no. You're wrong. You can't be Ballin on a budget. You simply either are, or you aren't. And let's be real, the majority of us are not.

The one thing I will say about it is that it's a nice dream. It's something to aspire to I suppose. To not have to worry about money. To go out and blow an insane amount of cash on a good time with your homies. We're all in love with the same idea for better or worse. My point is don't make the mistake of projecting yourself to be something you're not. There are people Ballin in the world, ballers. Professional athletes. Rappers. Celebrities. But we can't all be those people. Sometimes it's just best that we be ourselves.

see this counts.... halfway

So the next time you're at the strip club with that $100 worth of ones in your left pocket, and your $40 worth of drink money in your right one, do yourself a favor, and do jot scream out "BALLLLLIIIINNNNN" because you're not. Youre just some dude in a strip club with $140 and light hatred of women you'll never be able to afford.

ARE YOU A HATER??

HATERS
By: Derek Alan West
Head Writer

This week my assault on over used or mis used slang terms continues with one of the by far most over used words ever...hater.

Old School Haters!!
"Man, I asked her out and she said she doesn't date losers...she's just a hater..."

No, she's not a hater...she doesn't want to date you because you're 27, you live with your mom, you work at Speedway, and your hobbies are play station, weed, and internet pornography. In summation, by definition, you're a loser. She just called you on it. The funniest part about when someone calls someone else a hater, the person being called a hater is usually telling the truth, and in turn get labeled as being a hater for doing so.

"My professor gave me another D. Damn that dude is such a hater..."

Wrong again Cheech. You got a D because you opted to go get drunk 6 nights out of the week, rather than just study for a few hours and get your head right. Your professor is not a hater. Even if he wanted to hate on you, trust me he doesn't have the time. It also doesn't help that your hobbies include play station, weed, and Internet pornography. Are we noticing a trend here?

umm....Really?? smh
Google doesn't have a definition for the word hater, and I don't count the Urban Dictionary as a credible source so the following is my definition of the word hater:

Hater - (hay-tur) noun.

Someone who dislikes something about someone else.

So by my definition we are all or we have all been haters at some point or another during our lives. Hell I've apparently been a hater since kindergarten when Tommy Flanagan managed to get the ghostbusters firehouse play set before me. My point is we can't deem everyone a hater because we don't like something they do or say.

The only thing worse then people who call others haters, are the people who claim to have haters. I won't say names, but I recently saw a friend of mine on Facebook use the following as her status: "I love my haters"

Really? You're a dental hygienist from central Ohio who works and lives in Pittsburgh...who is hating on you? Really?

Look I get that everyone has little quirks that bother us. Shit sometimes the quirks downright piss us off. But the term hater has become so over used and out of control that it's hard to define anyone as anything but.

apparently I was told this was my favorite drink...

I'll go ahead and say it...I'm hating on haters.

Kanye West & Jay-Z Perform @ 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

This is hilarious... it was supposed to be a night highlighting some of the most gorgeous women in the world at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York, turned into for a lack of a better word.... a Sausage fest. "Kanye West, Jay-Z and Maroon 5 all took to the stage to perform as the scantily-clad Victoria’s Secret models stalked the catwalk around them. Not to be outdone by the musical impresarios, Miranda Kerr would later emerge in a 2.5 million dollar bra studded in diamonds. This was a particularly emotional moment for West, as he lost his mother just prior to being scheduled to perform at the 2007 event." check out somemore pics below.
