Having already explored the phenomenon of the ‘Lo Heads, episode two of Put this On finds host Jesse Thorn searching for menswear with Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs – the proprietors of Street Etiquette in Manhattan. With two-hours of thrifting to accomplish, tips and tricks are shared when it comes to purchasing wool garments, why you should avoid overly-shiny leather shoes and “the pinch test” which should be used for determining whether a jacket is canvassed. From this episode of Put This On, perhaps the greatest lesson to learn is that the thrift store shopping experience where you come away with nothing is still considered a successful forage.
