With 2013 coming towards an end, Forbes has released their annual listing of the year’s highest paid musicians. It comes as no surprise that Madonna takes the pole position for highest earning musician, having been announced as the highest paid overall celebrity earlier this year when her ‘MDNA tour’ and other business endeavors grossed over $305 million USD, pushing her so far ahead that Lady Gaga‘s second position spot at a paltry $80 million USD. Following closely is Bon Jovi at $79 million USD, ousting the likes of Kanye West and Beyonce, while other familiar names such as Rihanna, Dr. Dre and Jay-Z gained notable mention.
