"Saw the first couple of episodes a few nights ago and just wanted to comment. Essentially, if you don’t already know what the show is about, How to Make it in America is a show about two guys who are trying to hustle their way in to the fashion industry via their line called Crisp. Season one ends on a high note as they made a big sell in Japan.
Season two picks up with the guys in Japan and returning back to the U.S. soon thereafter to try and find success in their own city of New York. It’s a very light watch, which is fine as long as it’s entertaining. Included in the first few episodes are a Roc Nation and Jay-Z shout, someone getting shot, Avicii’s music, a familiar face from The Wire, Wilfredo Gomez, and much more. No spoilers. For those curious, Kid Cudi’s role is extended this season and he’s got some funny one-liners as he shows off his dog-walking business.
Definitely check it out when it premieres this coming Sunday night after Boardwalk Empire."
